What is your non-stick coating made of?

Our proprietary ceramic coating is made from inorganic ingredients that are FDA approved. It’s made without PTFE, PFOA, PFAS, lead, and cadmium, and third-party tested for over 600 types of forever chemicals.

Who conducts your third-party testing?

We partner with Light Labs, an independent testing lab, to verify the safety and integrity of our products.

What are forever chemicals?

“Forever chemicals” is a term used to describe per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS): a large group of chemicals used to make items resist water, grease, and stains. PFAS are called “forever chemicals” because they do not break down easily in the environment or the human body. Caraway products are intentionally designed and made without PFAS. 

What are microplastics?

Microplastics are tiny fragments of plastic that form as synthetic materials break down from causes like heat, abrasion, or wear and tear. Research shows they’re everywhere—from soil to human blood.
